Pipbuilders

Thank you for your purchase of SMART Trader. Please read through this document carefully before installing and using SMART Trader, and before asking for help. We have taken care to try to answer as many of your questions here as possible. If you don't read this and have problems, we may refer you back to this document as a first resource.

Quick Start

If you're impatient like us, then you just want to get going. The odds are that your system is all set to handle SMART Trader so just skip right to the installer and start clicking. It should walk you through everything you need to get going. Before you do that though, you really should read this entire README file. If you hit a snag, please come back here and read more before asking questions! Enjoy.

What is SMART Trader?

SMART (Smart Money Analysis Real Time) Trader is an advanced Volume Spread Analysis Trainer/Trading System that enables you to very quickly learn to recognize and react to Volume based trade setups. The system includes a number of signal modules to get started and is very easy to customize to the signals and information you need. Included with the base SMART Trader system are our proprietary background scanners, something no other Volume Based Trading Platform has much less includes.

Double click the installer file downloaded from within our client area.

 

Once you have completed installation please proceed below. If you encounter any problems with the installation please submit a support ticket from within our client area.



Using SMART Trader

  1. How SMART Trader Works: The heart of the SMART Trader system is Volume Spread Analysis or VSA for short. Volume Trading using SMART Trader enables you to very quickly surmise what Smart Money is doing in the markets. SMART Trader allows you to (in real time) using our proprietary painted signal bars and real time background scanners to trade along side the SMART Money.

  2. Post-Installation: After SMART Trader installation is complete, you will be asked if you would like to start Metatrader. Once Metatrader starts you can select one of the default templates included with SMART Trader (right click chart select Template> and scroll down to the template you would like to use. You can of course create your own templates, these are included to get you started as quickly as possible with the most common modules pre loaded and pre configured.

    Note:     The settings module takes care of all the optimized calculations and ranges need for SMART Trader to function as intended. However as with all Modules and the entire system itself, you are free to customize the settings as you wish. Everything within the SMART Trader system can be customized. Feel free to make SMART Trader your own.

  3. Using SMART Trader For The First time: Once within a chart running the SMART Trader system you will see a number of systems and modules running. The different colored "painted" bars you see are all individual VSA signals (Get a description by rolling your mouse over a painted bar) A color reference chart is include within our client area and you should familiarize yourself with the colors and what they mean right away. You will also see the background scanners (full template) these scanners alert you to background strength and weakness in both the immediate time frame (MTF as well as the current chart time frame) and also the range. There are modules for both standard support and resistance as well as Volume Support and Resistance included and many more. Please feel free to load individual modules on a chart to familiarize yourself with them all.

    Note: Within our client knowledge base you will find a complete reference for every signal module and framework module included with SMART Trader as well as any available Advanced Signal Modules.

    Note:     If you have purchased advanced modules please be sure they are enabled and loaded on the chart. Information on these can be found in the documentation that came with your advanced module(s).

If you have any problems, please open a support ticket from the support ticket area of Pipbuilder's home page or access it directly from the support link within the Pipbuilder Client Area.

Troubleshooting

  1. Please make sure you have installed SMART Trader to the base Metatrader Directory (Not the experts folder).

  2. If you do not see any "painted" bars please try loading a SMART Trader template. If SMART Trader still does not seem to be working please contact support.
